He tends his flock like a Shepherd. He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.
— Isaiah 40:11

The goal of the Women-to-Women (W2W) Ministry is to promote the knowledge and saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ through discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and outreach. We achieve discipleship through Bible studies and Sunday School classes. We accomplish fellowship through intergenerational events scheduled throughout the year. Finally, we host outreach events that support women who have experienced the misfortune of trauma and abuse. Our net is wide. Our hearts are open. Come join us!

Bible Studies & Sunday School Classes

The W2W Ministry sponsors several Bible Studies and Sunday School classes with the goal to make us disciples of Jesus. For the current list of studies, their meeting dates and times, contact the W2W Ministry at women@skippackchurch.com. The Bible Studies meet at Cornerstone.

THRIVING Women

Every third Tuesday the young women of Cornerstone meet to connect with one another through prayer, fellowship, and a study. We invite you to be a part of this community of Christian women seeking to encourage, support, and challenge one another in their walk with Christ.

If you would like additional information about Thriving Women, contact this ministry at thrivingwomen@skippackchurch.com.

Events

Events bring the women of Cornerstone and our community together. Through our events we form friendships and lasting relationships. They also enable us to invite and welcome family and women from our community to our church to learn about Jesus, the impact He has made on each of our lives, and to hear about the hope of eternity that He offers to everyone.

Fellowship & Fun

W2W hosts events that promote fun and fellowship. Our goal to is build friendships and relationships among the women of Cornerstone. Over the years, W2W has sponsored game nights, evenings around a blazing campfire, walks in Fischer’s Park, and ice cream socials.

Intergenerational Events

Building and maintaining respect and regard for all generations is vital to W2W. To achieve this goal, W2W hosts intergenerational events where grandmothers, mothers, daughters, and granddaughters can don their holiday attire, enjoy a festive meal, deepen cherished relationships, and hear about a Saviour whose love, grace, and forgiveness can overcome any obstacle or mountain. Over the years, our intergenerational events have included Christmas Brunches and Spring Teas.

Community Outreach

The W2W Ministry is sensitive to the hurting, sometimes broken, women within our community. Knowing that Jesus Himself mindfully reached out to women in despair, we, too, want to do the same. One method we use is to support local ministries that interact directly with vulnerable women. We do this by donating needed supplies and/or by providing vital services. Another method is through our one-day workshop, where experts confront the reality of abuse experienced by many women, and where survivors tell their stories.
